The Pursuit of Happiness

I have received a message today. It says, "Happiness is absolute".

For me, absolute happiness can only be achieved through death. Because through it, all your sufferings will disappear. I think. Although I do not know if there is really a life after death. No one really knows unless there is someone who had died and is living again.

Come to think of it, we are living to quest for happiness. We are living and are bound to suffer just to find that genuine happiness we are all looking for. And after that, what?

Happiness is fleeting. Momentary.

I sometimes think that 'happiness' is only a word, a mere word that doesn't mean anything at all.

Most of the time, I fear to be happy. Because I know, suffering will follow next.
