The Face of Hope
Things have gone different now. When we were small, the only problem we had was how to buy a candy or how to convince our parents to buy the latest toy we saw in the mall. But life is so complex than what we think. We are grown-ups now. As we grow and mature, our problems become bigger too.
How I envy those children whom they could cry in one minute and laugh afterwards; those children whom they could play all the way in the rain, not minding the mud but play in it as well. They are not afraid to be scolded by their parents nor they are afraid to get colds. For them, what is more vital is the good feeling they get from playing in the rain-- the freedom of doing what would make them happy. How I crave to be child again. Less worries, happy life.
Is it too much to ask? For me to become child again? Or at least to be child at heart?
