So Irritating

I got so irritated!

We just arrived from province. I and my husband were supposed to be here in Manila three hours earlier. But because of the NLEX patrol operation or whatever those people call it, we just got home.

They wanted to confiscate my husband's driver's license because they saw that one of our car's backlights(don't know what to call it) was busted. As far as I'm concern we didn't commit any violation.Is it our fault if one of the lights ceased to function?

Honestly, that was the first time I saw those people doing their so-called 'operation'. And yet, one of them told me they were doing it everyday. Really?! I asked him with oozing sarcasm. I wanted to tell him that we went home last week and we never saw even the shadow of their shadows!

I really don't know why they suddenly appeared like mushrooms beside a wet Narra tree. They really got into my nerves! I'm just thankful that we were able to arrive at home safe.
